This book explores the beauty of the Kimberley, Western Australia. With a focus on the wild and glorious boab trees that grow here, you'll be introduced to the animals that create his family. It's written in poetic form creating a warm and welcoming feel to a colourful book. There are 10 native animals that will help you count from 1 to 10. And a two-page spread in the centre teaching you age-appropriate facts about the behaviours of these animals as well as their habitats, friends and enemies.

“I am so proud to say that Chantal is the illustrator of my most recent children book. Although this was her first book, she had such knowledge and understanding about the design and communication process that I didn’t need to explain or worry about these crucial steps.

She provided me with clear sketches and colour mock ups that reassured me that we were imagining the same vision. If there were changes I wanted to make or small misunderstanding, these were approached and received with only respect and kindness for the vision we shared.
